The Booster is a perfect introduction into the rapid growing sub 10mm rope category. The lower diameter makes from a super compact light weight rope and reduced drag.

Ideal for sports climbing when every gram counts on a hard red-point but also very suited to trad where again keeping weight to a minimum is a high priority - a lighter rope meaning you can carry more gear all for the same weight. As with all Beal ropes the impact force is noticeable low, making for a slightly stretchier rope. This is give a more comfortable fall and reduce the impact absorbed by the top runner as the rope absorbs more impact in a fall situation.

With Beal's Dry Cover treatment the Booster is protected against harmful elements such as mud, grit, humidity, overheating and abrasion. This treatment greatly  enhances the longevity of your rope.

A 80m rope is recommended for the cutting edge of new sports routes - they just keep getting longer and longer! For such a large amount of rope a sub 10mm is highly recommended to keep the weight/meter down.
