The key idea behind Metolius's Safe Tech Harness is safety. The concept of low-strength components has all but been eliminated by the arrival of the Safe Tech, as where ever possible individual components are engineered to withstand a load of 10kN. Whilst there is no substitute for personal safety awareness at the Crag, unfortunately lapses are not unheard of, the Safe Tech aims to minimise the dangerous circumstances of this occurring. Surprisingly for a harness of such exceptional strength the Safe Tech is anything but bulky, and has not compromised on a full range of adjstability or comfort.
