The yarn treatments built in to this rope also contribute massively to its overall performance characteristics, the 'Beta Shield' yarn protection coating helps to protect the sheath from wet, dirt and other harmful substances in addition to further enhancing the ropes resilience and ability to resist abrasion.Edelrid also address the handling quality of all their ropes by subjecting them to their unique 'Thermal Stabilization' process (this is what gives Edelrid ropes their soft touch and comfortable handling) A great rope from a quality manufacturer - suitable for general cragging/ multipitch routes etc.
